Just Because

We went to breakfast at Madden's last Saturday with some friends and the kids did great! Of course they loved the food and had lots of fun playing on the train. Too bad we couldn't take the train home with us...oh wait...I am thankful we couldn't take the train home...one more thing to mow around in the back yard! LOL

Turning one was fun! Cupcakes were great but I wasn't too excited about the singing.

What a sweet little man my Will is turing into...that much sweeter with icing!!!

So I am a little behind...

...and haven't taken many pictures. Here are a few from our Easter weekend with mom and our trip to Houston to see the play "The Wizard of Oz." Autumn and Abby met us in Dayton and we all had a fun girls weekend. JB and Will went to Texarkana for the weekend so I was a little sad that we weren't all together but we all had a good time. The girls had a great time dressing up for the play and thought that they were super special to be getting to go to such a big girl event. They did well though they were competing for the best seat in the house...Caitlyn's lap. We had a great time and ate at a fun restaurant after the play.

Fun in the Sun

Even though it has been very windy and chilly, the kids have wanted to play in the swimming pool. By the end of their swim, they are freeezing and have blue lips. Whatever makes them happy at this point.

These are from the weekend we did the egg hunt at the George Bush Library but the weather was about the same then.

Show me your belt...

Both kids got new boots and of course, JB had to get Will a pair of Wranglers. Got the Wranglers and the waist was too big but he needed the length SO we had to get a belt. He is very proud of them! Piper was very proud of her boots, too....but pictures will have to come later b/c I don't have them on this computer.

Me: Piper, can you go get the broom? I want to sweep the kitchen floor. It is so gross.

Piper: Sure. (coming back with the broom)
